Mass General Hospital Affiliation
On December 9, 2006, trustees of Martha's Vineyard Hospital voted unanimously to become an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital and a member of Partners HealthCare, joining current affiliates Newton Wellesley Hospital, Faulkner Hospital and several other health care facilities in the Boston area. As part of our commitment to keep the Vineyard community fully informed, we have tried to answer the most frequently asked questions about the nature of this affiliation.

Martha's Vineyard Hospital and Windemere Nursing and Rehabilitation Center joined Partners HealthCare to celebrate the 12th annual "Partners in Excellence" award program at a ceremony held at MV Hospital on February 1, 2008.
New Hospital Construction Update - November 27, 2007
Activity for the new Martha's Vineyard Hospital construction project will begin to become more noticeable over the next few weeks.
Martha's Vineyard Hospital Awarded Grant to Save Energy Costs - November 26, 2007
The Hospital will receive a $198,000 design and construction grant for solar electric panels atop the new building.
Affiliation Formalized - March 6, 2007
On March 1, 2007, the Board of Trustees of Martha's Vineyard Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital formalized the agreement for MV Hospital to become an affiliate of Mass General and a member of Partners HealthCare.
