Vineyard Isle Parkinsonian's (VIP)

Dr. Stephen Gomperts, MD, PhD from Massachusetts General Hospital will address the Vineyard Isle Parkinsonian's (VIP) at their monthly meeting, September 8th at 10:15 at the Howes House in West Tisbury.

The VIP is a support group for patients and caregivers coping with Parkinson's disease. Meeting are held the second Monday of each month.

Sharps Drop-Off Program

First Tuesday of Every Month • 8am - 3pm
MV Hospital Loading Dock Entrance

Martha's Vineyard Hospital is pleased to offer a Sharps Drop-Off Program on the 1st Tuesday of every month from 8-3 p.m. This program is for members of the Vineyard community who seek a safe method to dispose of used needles and syringes. To drop off your used needles and syringes, please place them in a puncture-proof container and tape it securely closed.

PLEASE - NO MEDICAL WASTE FROM VETERINARY, DENTAL OR OTHER PROFESSIONAL PRACTICES.

Containers may be dropped off on the first Tuesday of each month at the loading dock entrance at the rear of the Hospital. There are signs and clearly marked containers located just inside the loading dock door.

MV Hospital Annual Health Fair

Every year in late winter, Martha's Vineyard Hospital invites health and human service providers to gather at the hospital to present a day of health screenings, lectures and demonstrations to help members of the community care for themselves and their families.
